I am a Senior Lecturer working in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work.
I qualified as a nurse in 1988. I worked clinical in ICU until 2005, obtaining a BSc during this time. Moving to work in higher Education at Kings College London, I completed an MA Ed and EdD. I have worked at CCCU since 2015. I am Module Leader and Course Director ( ACP Apprenticeship) . Currently, I work as the School Director for Teaching and Learning.
I have worked in Higher Education for 16 years. During this time, my teaching has centred around advanced clinical practice, critical care and complexity in adult nursing practice.
My research interests include looking at the impact of blended learning on students and lecturers, considering the impact of ACP on the patient, staff and managers.
I am an external examiner at Sheffield Halam for the MSc ACP course. I work with AAPE regarding the development of EPA.
