Dr Ahmad Musa is a cybersecurity researcher interested in network security. He is also involved with curriculum development for Cybersecurity.

Dr Ahmad Musa is a Lecturer of Computing, Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity. Before joining CCCU, Ahmad worked as a sessional lecturer at the University of Bradford, where he also acquired his MSc in Forensic Computing and PhD in decentralised network security. Ahmad also has an MBA from the University of the People, California.

Ahmad teaching interests and modules are currently: - Computer Security  - Cybersecurity  - Information Security Management

Dr Ahmad Musa's broad research area is cybersecurity, mainly focused on designing, developing and investigating secure communication protocols and their modelling within decentralized networks and future networking technologies, including peer-to-peer, IoT, cloud computing and blockchain. He is an active researcher with 12+ peer-reviewed journals and international conferences in network security and computing. He is also a reviewer of various scientific journals and has been a member of various programme committees of international conferences.

Dr Ahmad Musa is a Member of many professional organizations such as the:

Dr Ahmad Musa is also the current external examiner for BSc Digital Technology Solutions (Integrated Degree) with BPP University’s School of Technology.
