Dr Ahmad Musa

With over a decade of experience teaching computing and cybersecurity modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I am currently supervising numerous PhD students. My teaching focuses on equipping students with both strong technical foundations and practical cybersecurity skills.

I am actively engaged in research and am open to new research ideas and collaborations, particularly in the areas of AI Security and broader cybersecurity topics. I welcome enquiries from prospective PhD students and research partners.

Dr Ahmad Musa's broad research area is cybersecurity, mainly focused on designing, developing and investigating secure communication protocols and their modelling within decentralized networks and future networking technologies, including peer-to-peer, IoT, cloud computing and blockchain. He is an active researcher with 12+ peer-reviewed journals and international conferences in network security and computing. He is also a reviewer of various scientific journals and has been a member of various programme committees of international conferences.

Dr Ahmad Musa is also the current external examiner for BSc Digital Technology Solutions (Integrated Degree) with BPP University’s School of Technology.
