    • Ambassador Type *

    There are lots of exciting Ambassador roles available across the University! Work can be on campus, in the local area or further afield. There can also be shifts during the week, at weekends and during holidays. You can select as many options as you're interested in, but please only select your Faculty for subject specific work.

    More information about each role is listed below:


    • Recruitment Events Ambassador - working on recruitment events on campus such as Answers Day
    • SCE (School and College Engagement) Ambassador - involves widening participation and recruitment work on campus and in schools and colleges
    • Subject Ambassador (Arts, Humanities and Education) - for students on courses in that Faculty to represent their subject at events and online
    • Subject Ambassador ( Medicine, Health and Social Care) - for students on courses in that Faculty to represent their subject at events and online
    • Subject Ambassador (Science, Engineering and Social Sciences eg Law, Criminology) Ambassador - for students on courses in that Faculty to represent their subject at events and online
    • Content Creation and Marketing Ambassador- working with departments to create content for various platforms, taking part in photoshoots and campaigns, having a Unibuddy profile
    • International Ambassador - working with the International Team to support events. For International students

    Sometimes, there is additional work for ambassadors who drive and have access to a car to apply for a 'driver' role. Expenses are paid to cover fuel at a rate of £0.45 per mile, plus £0.05 per passenger.


    The University requires that all vehicles used for business travel are roadworthy and rely on individual staff members to ensure the vehicle meets the Department of Transport’s standard of roadworthiness and that business use insurance has been obtained prior to the journey being undertaken.
