We recognise that every student is different and that your needs may be different to others based on your background, chosen subject or level of study.

Whether you an international student or studying with our partner institutions you are all welcome.

As a new postgraduate student there are lots of opportunities to meet other like-minded students and become part of a wider friendly and diverse postgraduate community

And if you you’ve applied through Clearing or end up starting late, we’re here to support you getting off to a good start and helping you quickly settle into our friendly academic community.

Once you start at the University there are range of networks to join including BAME Student Network, the Mature Student Society, Parent and Carer Network and the International Society – where you can meet like-minded people, make new friends and get mutual support.
