Welcome to the CELTA course at Canterbury Christ Church University. The tutors and I are looking forward to working with you, as you build and develop your English language teaching knowledge and skills during your time with us.
We are looking forward to greeting you on Tuesday, 28 January 2025 at 9am for the first session of the course.
To prepare you for the course, you might like to have a look at https://www.elt-training.com/home, where you will find a lot of useful free resources for CELTA trainees.
You will be sent a pre-course learning task. It is vital you complete this before the course starts to equip you with some of the basics of teaching grammar and vocabulary, as well as the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The task is for your own development and will not be assessed.
