Student Helpers for Recruitment Events

Do you enjoy the buzz of a busy campus? Our Student Helpers are the friendly faces in the red shirts you may have seen when you first visited Canterbury Christ Church University before starting your studies.

You will regularly work with the events team over the course of an open day or offer holder day to guide future students around campus and make the most of their visit. A variety of roles are offered during the events, so there are plenty of opportunities to develop a wide range of skills, represent the university to a high standard and make friends. There are also smaller ad-hoc opportunities throughout the duration of this role in preparation for our events.

Schools and College Engagement (SCE) Ambassadors

Being a School and College Engagement (SCE) Ambassador is all about helping students realise their potential. Through interactive events the university experience comes to life for students from 11 up to 19. Whether it’s on a campus taster day, or a personal statement workshop, your job is to be fun, engaging, and supportive. You’ll work alongside recent graduates to deliver inspiring, aspiration raising workshops and talks to students from local schools and colleges. If you believe that you can have a positive effect on young people, help to shape their future and enable their academic aspirations, then we’d like to hear from you.

Faculty Student Ambassadors

Our Faculty Student Ambassadors are experts in their field of study, knowing the ins and outs of their course and always ready to answer questions from prospective CCCU students. If you are passionate about your course and want others to see how great it is, then this is the opportunity for you!

International Student Ambassadors

Are you a current international student enjoying life in Canterbury and keen to share your experience with others? Would you feel confident helping us welcome and guide international visitors including prospective students and university partners? Perhaps you might like to help promote international student life in Canterbury across our social media platforms? If you have a warm, friendly personality with good cross-cultural communication skills, then this may be the perfect role for you.

Our International Student Ambassadors are key partners in helping to shape a quality student experience at CCCU, by using their first-hand experience of studying here to help us develop an inclusive global student community. Join us in delivering a world-class international student experience!
