Canterbury Welcome Fair

This is your chance to connect with all that is on offer at Christ Church and make the most out of your university experience.

There will be pop up stands including Student Wellbeing, Peer Mentors , Careers, Volunteering, Accommodation and Facilities.

You can have a go at a sport, play Nintendo with the Chaplaincy, take the Expect Repect Pledge, create butterflies with Canterbury Christ Church Creatives, chat with current students and much, much more.

This is your chance to connect with all that is on offer at Christ Church and make the most out of your university experience.

There will be pop up stands including Peer Mentors, Careers, Volunteering, Sustainability, Accommodation and Facilities. On Wednesday we will also be joined by Student Support and the Learning Skills teams.

You can have a go at a sport, play Nintendo with the Chaplaincy, create butterflies with Canterbury Christ Church Creatives, make a bath bomb or candle with the STEM team, chat with current students and much, much more.

Plus find out more about what the city has to offer (including their discount shopping evening!).

On Wednesday and Thursday you can sign up to a local GP while our education students can find out more about Teaching Unions.

Finally don’t forget that if you want to relax we will also have our very own chill out zone!

Introduction to the Graduate College and to postgraduate student life

This session is for all postgraduate students and will provide an introduction to the role and provision of the Graduate College at Canterbury Christ Church University as well as providing advice about the transition to life as a postgraduate student.

Sustainability Events

 

Annual Hop Picking  

A selection of hops are grown on campus in celebration of our history and links to the St Augustine and the monks who once lived here. Come along to the annual hop picking and find out more about are partnership with a local microbrewery to produce our own heritage Christ Church ale.

Get to know your Sustainable Campus: the hidden story

Discover the wonderful grounds across the campus including wildflower banks, a heritage orchard and secret garden which all encourage biodiversity. Tours last about 45 minutes. 

You can also have a go at the carbon literacy game.
