Let’s Talk - about the winter blues

It is cold and dark outside and while many people are looking forward to Christmas for some it can be a challenging time. So, remember if you are feeling low, anxious or overwhelmed you don’t have to face it alone. Reach out to the Student Wellbeing Team for a chat and support. They are here for you.

Let's talk

Supporting you over the holidays

Our campuses will close for most services on 20 December and will re-open on 2 January 2025. However, a range of support and services will continue to be available both on campus and online to support students during the holidays.

You can also access 24/7 immediate emotional support from Spectrum.Life, available online, via text and telephone 365 days a year.

And if you’re staying local this winter break, check out the Christmas Corner in the Lounge from 21 December to 5 January for a place to chill, play games, and maybe enjoy a mince pie. Remember to bring your student ID! Or visit the StressLess Zone on the second floor of Augustine House for a warm place to hang with friends over the holidays.

Friends International, in partnership with our International Team and the Chaplaincy, is here to help International students enjoy their time in Canterbury over Christmas. You do need to book in advance
