University hosts online forum to support local businesses

The University will be hosting an online event to support local businesses to help organisations respond to ongoing challenges due to Covid-19.

The Community Impact Forum will focus on innovative fundraising and community engagement, and how to embrace technology to find the best digital tools.  

The forum, on Tuesday 26 January, will include a panel discussion with local business experts, including Duncan MacIver, Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Manager at Christ Church, who is responsible for the development and use of learning technology within the University and has led the University's approaches to digital capabilities and digital accessibility.

Also attending, is Claire Haffenden, Interim CEO at Stronger Kent Communities, Carey Philpott, Business Development Manager at Sateda, Rachel Pilard, Marketing & Communications Manager at Canterbury Business Improvement District (BID, Beth Elwood, Christ Church Students' Union President (Development) and Susannah Gilbert, Employability and Skills Officer at Christ Church
