The University and Students’ Union want to know how you travel to campus, to help us to understand its impact on your education and the environment.

We know that many of you are concerned about your travel to Uni, because of how much money it costs, how long it takes and the environmental impact.

By answering just 5 questions - including how you travel to campus, how often you attend campus and your postcode area - we hope to find out if accessible, acceptable, affordable and available transport to campus exists for our students.

We will then be able to start to understand how accessible your learning opportunities and other resources are; and if we could make these more inclusive.

We should also be able to calculate the carbon footprint of the commute to campus and understand if we could support our students to have a greener commute.

This is the first step in a wider project, as part of CCCU’s response to the climate emergency

The survey is open from Monday 27 March until Friday 7 April 2023.

Everything that you tell us will be anonymous and confidential, and we won’t be able to identify you from the answers that you give.

If you have any questions about the survey or the wider study, please contact Principal Lecturer in Politics, Dr Susan Kenyon by emailing Susan.Kenyon@canterbury.ac.uk.
