The University has launched a new service to help support individuals to develop their research, writing and digital skills.

The Learning Skills Hub has over 40 engaging and interactive modules which can be used in preparation for joining a University course, whilst studying, or as part of career development.

Modules include improving critical digital skills, knowledge of disabilities and improving wellbeing, The hub is updated regularly in response to the needs of students and the local community.

Jodie Calleja, Learning Development Manager at the University, said: “Each module offers a structured learning environment to develop a range of skills, top tips and opportunities to assess, apply or reflect a person’s learning.

“There are also related links so students can continue their academic, personal and professional development.

“Our entire platform is open-access, which means members of the community do not need to study with us to access the modules.”
