New data on graduate outcomes shows that Canterbury Christ Church University is third in the UK* for graduates in employment.

The figures are taken from the new Graduate Outcomes survey 2022, the UK’s largest annual social survey, which captures the perspectives and current status of recent graduates.

The new Graduate Outcomes survey also revealed that:

  • 88% of Canterbury Christ Church graduates were in employment 15 months after completing their studies - 8 % higher than the sector average of 80%
  • 76% of UK, full-time Canterbury Christ Church undergraduate leavers who were in employment went into high-skilled employment 15 months after completing their studies - 5 % higher than the national average (71%).

Professor Rama Thirunamachandran, Vice-Chancellor of Canterbury Christ Church University, said: “We are delighted to see that once again our graduates are continuing their success after graduation. It is especially pleasing to see that more than three quarters of our graduates are in highly-skilled graduate level employment. This is testament to our approach to embedding employability across the University and our courses, and shows the value of gaining a degree from Canterbury Christ Church University.

“We understand that our students are looking towards their future career prospects as soon as they start their education experience with us. Through our work in partnership with industry and local businesses we can ensure that our courses are relevant to their needs and support students to become highly skilled graduates that will aid economic growth regionally, nationally and internationally. We are incredibly proud of all our graduates who are making a positive difference to our communities.”
