Drill Hall Library

One of the best landmarks on campus is the Drill Hall Library, which you can explore before you arrive through this online orientation.

The Library houses an extensive collection of books and journals, boasting an impressive range of study spaces, training rooms as well as a cafe facility.

Your Learning Skills Team

Your Learning Skills Team provides a range of development opportunities to enhance your academic skills for success throughout your time at University and beyond, into your employment.

For Medway Campus these are:

  • David Bedford - your Learning & Research Librarian to help you develop your research and referencing skills.
  • Kat Bryne - your Learning Developer to build on your online learning and improve your writing and presenting skills.

Christ Church Students’ Union

The Christ Church Students’ Union (SU) is available to support students at Medway throughout your time at university. The SU host a range of activities and social events for students to get involved in, including societies specific to the Medway campus. They provide support services for students, offer advice and guidance, and even represent students at all levels of study to ensure their voices are heard and interests are represented.

The SU at Medway works closely with the other two universities on the campus to ensure you get the most out of your time at University. So don't forget to check out the Deep End which is the campus bar where you can enjoy events, live sport, and great food and drink.

The Chaplain

Lynne, the Medway Chaplain offers a safe space where any student can bring and discuss their problems in a non-judgmental environment. Lynne also organises a range of events at Medway campus including Chill n’ Chat, Bargain Corner and TableTalk, a themed social event where you can meet and chat with students from around the world.

In addition to the Medway Chaplain, our Student Wellbeing Team offer support through regular drop-ins as follows:

  • Virtual drop-ins from Monday- Friday, between 12 noon and 1pm, via Blackboard
  • Student Support Advisers, email to book an appointment at Medway Campus.

Parking at Medway

Students at Medway can apply for a student car parking permit to park in either the Rowan Williams Court or Cathedral Court building car parks. The permits are free of charge and applications can be made online.

Parking at Medway is on a first-come-first-served basis, so if our car parks are full, you can use the Historic Dockyard car park which is about a five minute walk from the Campus.

The Historic Dockyard car park are ANPR at the point of entry, or you can pay at one of the kiosks on site.
