If you don’t pass all your modules and progress to your next level of study at the first attempt, in most cases you will be offered the chance to undertake reassessment.

Reassessment provides you with a further opportunity to take and pass an assessment activity that you’ve attempted but not passed. There’s no stigma attached to reassessment, and many students who re-take an exam or are asked to submit an alternative piece of work go on to complete their award with the grades they wanted.

Reassessment Timetable

The July Reassessment Exam Timetable for is now live:

You can also access it by logging into MyTimetable.

Make a note of the dates as it is important that you are available to undertake your reassessment at the specified time. These are formally set dates that cannot be changed, and unless you have an exceptional circumstance, you must attempt all your reassessments to be eligible to progress.

Supporting you to succeed

If you have reassessments, remember there is plenty of support available to ensure that you go on to succeed in your studies.

Don’t leave it too late to access the support you may need as we want you to feel prepared to perform your best.

Important things to note

  • If you undertake a reassessment, your mark for that reassessment activity is capped at the pass mark. This includes any deferred reassessment attempts.
  • In some cases, reassessment may impact on the timeliness of your progression to your next level of study.
  • You should expect that your graduation ceremony will be at a later date than if you complete your degree without reassessment.
