COP29 at CCCU

We are excited to be hosting our very own COP29@CCCU from 11 - 22 November to coincide with COP29, an annual United Nations conference where ambassadors from countries around the world have meetings and debates on limiting climate change and its effects. This year, the Academy for Sustainable Futures at CCCU has created a programme of events that sits within COP29 and intends to engage staff and students with sustainability and the climate emergency from our place in Canterbury.

Whether you share feedback on sustainability murals around our campus or get involved in the Green Games, share sustainable hopes and wishes at one of the Craftivism pop-ups throughout the week or take part in Carbon Literacy Training, pledge to make your commute more sustainable or get your hands dirty during Potter and Prune - there are plenty of events happening during COP29@CCCU that aim to celebrate and raise awareness around sustainability.
