Professor Kim Manley honoured with lifetime achievement award

Professor Kim Manley CBE, Associate Director of the England Centre for Practice Development hosted by the University, has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Zenith Global Health.
The annual awards are set up by healthcare Professionals to acknowledge and celebrate fellow healthcare and Allied Healthcare professionals for their excellence, commitment and dedication. Rewarding healthcare professionals working at the front line of practice whose evidence of achievement and positive impact on health care delivery, practice and workforce is acknowledged.
Professor Manley’s international work spans more than four decades of research, practice development, learning and innovation and is acknowledged for her contribution to the delivery of person centered safe and effective services in a wide variety of contexts on a global scale. She has published her work extensively in books and journal articles, examined PhD theses all over the world, contributed to policy developments and provided a platform for participatory research from practice that enhances the wellbeing of staff and patients. Her joint appointment with East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust allows cutting edge research and practice to work together to transform services that matter most to people in a wide range of communities.
