Room Numbers

To help you find your seminars and lectures you will be given a room number.

Rooms are usually numbered as follows:

  • The first letter indicates the building name
  • The Second letter indicates the floor i.e g = ground, f=first, s=second etc
  • The number indicates the room number

So for example:

Lg26 is Laud Building, ground floor, room 26

Nf03 is Newton building, first floor, room 03

If you are having trouble finding your way round don’t worry, there is always plenty of people to ask for help and don’t forget the i-zone who have helpdesks on every campus.
