The chaplaincy are a team of christians who share in ministering to the holistic welfare of the University, whether that is through supporting our ethos, engaging in pastoral care or enabling people to follow and engage with their own religious traditions.

Introduction to the Chaplaincy

For over 50 years the Chaplaincy has been praying daily for Canterbury Christ Church University, blessing the buildings and supporting the community as it goes about its daily life.

We believe in the power of prayer and are happy to pray and share our prayer times with others. The chapel and the chaplaincy centre both provide spaces for people to come in prayer and meditation and offer opportunities to pray with others, on your own or to have others to offer prayer for you.
