And whether you volunteer regularly or just want to get involved in one–off events, giving up your time can make a huge difference – not only to the communities you support, but also to you and your own wellbeing. It can also help develop your skills and is a great addition to your CV. Whatever your interest, location or time commitment there’s a volunteering opportunity for you. From supporting the local homeless charity to becoming a peer mentor, from raising funds for the local hospice to getting out and about with a wildlife charity. The volunteering team can help you find the volunteering opportunity you’re looking for by emailing:  volunteer@canterbury.ac.uk.
