Profile summary

I joined the School of Nursing in 2017. I have for many years prior to this worked as an honorary lecturer.

I act as the Faculty lead for the Time for Dementia research project.

I have a broad experience in both primary and secondary care settings within the NHS and private sector. Working as a Nursing Consultant I specialised in end of life care, cardiology and heart failure for over 15 years. I worked in Intensive care having undertaken specialist intensive care training in my early career.


I have had Board level experience within a Primary care Trust and Clinical Commissioning Group and worked as an associate inspector for the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

I am currently a Trustee of a Hospice in Kent.
