Occupational Therapy Practice Educator Courses
We are looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming Practice Educators Course. Please see below for dates, booking and relevant information.
Full /Initial Practice Educator courses: For those who are new to the role of Placement/Practice Educator, attendance at the Full Course is required. Duration: One day.
Practice Educator update courses: For those who have completed initial Practice Educator training and require an update. Annual updates are recommended. Duration: Half day.
Virtual Drop-in sessions: Practice educators bring specific issues for advice and discussion, using this link: https://eu.bbcollab.com/guest/13e5184a98324e9fbcd321cc007ed57c.
Please use the booking form to indicate that you intend to bring an issue to one of the drop-in sessions.
**ALL COURSES ARE DELIVERED VIRTUALLY**
Placement Offers are made by the appointed Placement Coordinator for each trust or organisation. Please contact your Placement Coordinator to make an offer to supervise an occupational therapy student/ apprentice.
This training is NOT designed for Workplace Mentors who will be supporting Apprentices for the duration of their course. See FAQs below for more information.

Additional information for any courses delivered on campus
Please note that there will be no parking available at the Canterbury Campus for this course. Parking is available in nearby car parks and via the Park and Ride.
Please note the Medway campus is for permit holders only and everyone is advised to park at the Historic Dockyard, a short walk away from the campus. We do not recommend parking at the Dockside shopping centre, as this may incur a fine.
Lunch will not be provided on the course. However, food will be available to purchase on campus from the Touchdown Cafe.
