Practice Assessor Courses

Outcomes of the course:

  • Understanding of the new NMC Standards for Nursing and Midwifery Education (May 2018)
  • Understanding of the new roles and responsibilities (practice supervisor; practice assessor and academic assessor)
  • Understand the student assessment process and associated documentation
  • Giving appropriate feedback
  • Effectively managing underperformance

Requirements and Preparation for the Course

To attend this Practice Assessor’s Study Day, delegates will need to complete the below online learning modules and bring evidence of completion, such as a screenshot or printed E-Certificate, of the 7 EVOLVE Modules by PAN London Practice Learning Group. This should take the delegate roughly 7 Hours for completion, and is essential to take part in this Study Day and obtain the Practice Assessor Qualification.
