The course will introduce you to the role of the practice educator in the ambulance service and will explore learning theory, the practice assessment process and how to support a range of learners in clinical practice.

Three Day Blended Learning Courses, in the form of a certificated masterclass series:

This course is for those who are new to the role of Paramedic Practice Educator (PEd) and attendance at all three says is required. Please note your employer will book you in for the three days and will be sponsoring you.

Day 1: 1/10/20 1300-1900 on campus face to face

Day 2: 29/10/20 – Webinar (times tbc)

Day 3: 12/11/20 0900-1600 - on campus  face to face followed by simulated practice

Group 2

Day 1: 2/10/20 1300-1900 on campus face to face

Day 2: 30/10/20 – Webinar (times tbc)

Day 3: 13/11/20 0900-1600 - on campus  face to face followed by simulated practice

Day 1: 21/01/21 1300-1900 on campus face to face

Additional information

Location: Medway Campus

Please note the Medway campus is for permit holders only and everyone is advised to park at the Historic Dockyard, a short walk away from the campus. We do not recommend parking at the Dockside shopping centre, as this may incur a fine.

Lunch and refreshments will not be provided on the course. However, food will be available to purchase on campus from the Touchdown Cafe.
