Research Scholarship - MSc by Research
The impact of Fellowships as a means of innovation and Improvement within the National Health Service.
The School is delighted to announce this opportunity for a curious graduate to take the first steps into a research career, or to consolidate research skills and expertise in an area of shared interest.
The successful candidate will work with Professor Chris Burton, Professor of Health Services Research, on an investigation of the impacts and sustainability of opportunities for healthcare professionals to work across clinical practice and healthcare education. The project will provide an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to engage with stakeholders working at the forefront of developments in healthcare education, and to gain theoretical insights and practical skills in supporting change. The topic will be of interest to graduates within the health disciplines, or related subjects such as psychology and sociology. Applicants from other fields are welcome if they can demonstrate how their ‘lens’ on the topic may provide new ideas and insights.
The scholarship is for full-time study only and will offer a stipend of £13,000 p.a. and a tuition fee waiver.

Entry Requirements
Candidates should hold at least an Upper Second Class Undergraduate Honours degree, and have a strong commitment to the development of a research career within a health-related context.
