Public Membership Including SCONUL Access

While the main function of the Library is to serve members of the University, we have a range of services available for members of the public who wish to join the Library. If you are a student or staff at another UK university, you may be eligible for a free library account through the SCONUL Access scheme.

Fines and overdue items

The fine rates are fairly balanced not to disadvantage any user but at the same time act as an incentive for borrowers to return items on time.There are no fines unless your loan has been requested by someone else.

VIsitor PC and wi-fi

A dedicated visitor PC is available to access Internet, OpenOffice packages and a range of online resources. You can connect to Guest Wi-Fi on your own devices.
