BoB (Box of Broadcasts) is an innovative shared online off-air TV and radio recording service for UK higher and further education institutions.
The academically-focused system allows staff and students at subscribing institutions (CCCU being one of the many) to record programmes from over 75 free-to-air channels, and search their extensive archive!

Go to https://learningonscreen.ac.uk/ondemand and select Sign In
Type ‘Canterbury’ in the Where are you from box
Select Canterbury Christ Church University and click on Go
If this is the first time you are accessing BoB you will be presented with the CCCU sign-in screen. Enter your username@canterbury.ac.uk and your password.
You will need to setup your account. Simply enter your CCCU email and name in the relevant fields and then select Register.
The next screen will inform you that an email has been sent to you.
Open your email and locate the message sent from bufc.ac.uk.
You will need to click the link to complete your registration.
Select the link in the email message.
This will redirect you back to BoB where it will confirm successful account setup.
You can share recordings on BoB with other CCCU staff and students. The best way to do this is to use the 'WAYFless link' which will send the user straight to the CCCU login page (if the individual isn’t already logged in), and then once logged in, take them directly to the recording.
