Visitor PC and Wi-Fi
Members of the public can use the internet, access OpenOffice packages and a range of online resources via the visitor PC on the Ground Floor of Augustine House. The PC has a USB port, so you can save material to a memory stick and printing is available.
You can only use these resources for educational purposes (ie teaching and learning, private study or research), not for commercial purposes. You are expected to abide by the Library regulations and IT regulations.
If you would like to use the visitor PC, ask a member of staff on the Library Point on the Ground Floor in Augustine House. You will have to fill in a form with some personal details (see privacy notice) to register. Once you have registered, staff will log you into the PC and a web browser will be available for you to use.
You can use the visitor PC during the Library Point service hours for at least 30 minutes. If another visitor is waiting to use the PC you may be asked to finish your session at the end of the 30 minute period.
Connecting to Wi-Fi
If you have your own laptop and just want to get online, using free Wi-Fi may better meet your needs:
