Spelling, grammar and punctuation are vital aspects of effective writing. When you are writing, whether you are preparing an academic assignment or writing a job application, you are communicating with your reader. Incorrect spelling, inappropriate punctuation or misuse of grammar can have a negative impact on the clarity and flow of a piece of writing.

There may be some aspects of spelling, grammar and punctuation which you would like to review. In this module you will find guidance to support you when preparing, writing and editing your work or responding to feedback.
