Dan is a Lecturer at the University of Kent, and one of the contributors to jointly run Physician Associate Studies.
Dan is involved with the undergraduate MPharm programme at the Medway School of Pharmacy (Universities of Kent and Greenwich), also with the Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice (DipGPP) for hospital pharmacists which is joint programme between the Medway School of Pharmacy and the University of Brighton. In addition to these programme Dan is a senior member of the Prescribing Programme run at the Medway School of Pharmacy which is an accredited prescribing programme with the HCPC, NMC and GPhC to train non-medical prescribers.
Dan is also working with the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) to help develop guidance on the administration, supply and prescribing in relation to Physician Associates.
Dan originally trained in New Zealand and has experience in community and hospital pharmacy with a broad interest in pharmacology and how it can be used to obtain better outcomes for patients.
