The Financial Times is a British newspaper with a special emphasis on UK and international business, finance, economic and political news, comment and analysis.

It may be useful for current awareness for business, economics and politics. You can customise it to go straight to the stories you’re interested in.

    1. Go to LibrarySearch 

    2. Log in using your CCCU username and password. If you are away from campus or connecting with your own device over Wi-Fi, you will need to include @canterbury.ac.uk after your CCCU username.

    3. Select Find Databases, click on F, then on the link to Financial Times FT.com to open this in a new window.

As a new user you will be taken directly to the Registration screen. Fill in and submit your details. Make sure you use your CCCU email address. You create your own password.

Once you have submitted your details you will receive an email to confirm that you will be able to access the site. As soon as this comes through you can proceed directly to Financial Times FT.com using the link from the Find Databases A-Z. You will have unlimited access to the FT premium content, tools
and features and can access via mobile devices (using the FT app) as well as PCs.

Once in, you can start reading the paper and can personalize it to suit your own needs.

  1. Find the Financial Times FT.com in the Find Databases A-Z via LibrarySearch.

  2. Register with FT.com.

  3. Find some articles on topics you’re interested in and add them to MyFT.
