As a response to having signed The SDG Accord Climate letter (https://www.sdgaccord.org/climateletter) in July 2019, the University is hosting a course facilitated by Jo Barker, an experienced, local garden designer, forager and permaculture practitioner who has been working with the Sustainability team to develop Johnson Wellbeing Wildlife Garden. This is the first of three evening sessions that aim to empower us to plan for the worst and hope for the best.

To shake ourselves out of the crazy panic. To uncover various ways we can make a difference in our own lives that will help reduce our carbon emissions, support natural systems, and meet our human needs. NB: The other dates are: Mon 6th April and Mon 4th May 2020. Jo's work is inspired by David Holmgren's 'Permaculture: Pathways and Principles Beyond Sustainability'. For more info on what permaculture is, see https://www.permaculture.org.uk/knowledge-base/basics FREE TO CHRIST CHURCH STAFF AND STUDENTS Please contact Sustainability Coordinator Maz Hamilton to book a place.
