This is the tenth Michael Nightingale Memorial Lecture organised jointly by the Centre for Kent History and Heritage and the Agricultural Museum, Brook.

This free, public lecture will be given by Dr Graham Bradley one of the Museum's trustees and the author of 'Brook: A Village in Kent' (2013).

Dr Bradley will discuss how this early medieval settlement of the 600s developed into one of Canterbury Christ Church Priory's manors with its manorial complex of church, court lodge and barn with associated farm buildings. This complex is of very special interest, and the lecture will demonstrate Brook's fascinating history.
