We know it’s a difficult time - but your wellbeing still matters

We understand that this is a challenging period for many staff across the University. With change and uncertainty affecting colleagues, it’s more important than ever to acknowledge the pressures people are facing.

That’s why, even in difficult times, we believe initiatives like the Vice-Chancellor’s Challenge still matter. It’s not just about the activity - it’s about stepping away from the day-to-day, connecting with colleagues, and doing something positive for your own wellbeing.

We hope you’ll join us.

A message from our Vice-Chancellor

"Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to confirm that the Vice-Chancellor’s Challenge this summer will take place at Polo Farm Sports Club on Friday 20 June, 1-4pm.

I appreciate that we are currently working in a time of great challenge and unprecedented change that is unsettling for many of us. However, I would encourage you to consider taking part in this popular social team event that aligns with our People Strategy. Where operationally feasible, I encourage managers to release colleagues to participate. The event will run on a cost-neutral basis."
