Join us on the first Thursday of every month for a 45-minute walk in nearby nature at the Canterbury campus.

Join members of the Academy for Sustainable Futures on the first Thursday of every month for a 45-minute nearby walk in nature. A chance to grab some fresh air, stretch your legs, and (optionally) chat about your climate hopes and anxieties in friendly company.

Please arrive 5 mins early ready to leave promptly at 1pm, at the Abbey Plaza outside Verena Holmes near the Streatery food van. Just look out for people holding a big Academy for Sustainable Futures sign.

Booking via the linked form is encouraged, so we can let you know if the event has to be cancelled or postponed due to poor weather, but you're welcome to just turn up on the day if you prefer.

The walks will often involve uneven ground with some inclines and woodland paths which are not suitable for wheelchair users, and which may be challenging for someone with mobility issues. Please get in touch if you'd like to ask about upcoming planned walks or have questions we can answer to help you decide if this event is accessible for you.
