We warmly invite you to the ‘Saluting our Sisters: Breaking Barriers in Policing’ event.

As part of our commitment to tackling racial inequity, building allyship and fostering a society in which all communities are celebrated, we warmly invite you to the ‘Saluting our Sisters: Breaking Barriers in Policing’ event.

This in-person event will be taking place on International Women’s Day and the theme this year is #inspireinclusion. The event will bring together leading female voices from Policing and connected areas and will be an opportunity to explore and celebrate the contributions that Black and Black Mixed Heritage women have made to policing in the UK. The event comes one year on from The Casey Report- police culture; gender, sexism and misogyny; ethnicity, race and racism and provides a platform to explore next steps with regards to race relations and Policing.

This is a joint event between Canterbury Centre for Policing Research and Closing our Gap.

Attendance is free and you can sign up for the event here: https://forms.office.com/e/LGJvhbF8nA
