I am an experienced Senior Lecturer in Special Education Needs and Inclusion studies at Canterbury Christ Church University. I lecture throughout the undergraduate programme with a specific interest in research methods and design, human rights, experiences of marginalised populations and the mental health of children and the realtionship between emotional, mental and physical health/wellbeing.
Research and knowledge exchange
I am undertaking PhD studies in Health and Social Sciences with Bournemouth University.
Teaching and subject expertise
I am a qualified teacher, have a masters degree in Education and I research in the field of disability, marginalised groups, human rights, mental health and equality of life experiences for children from all backgrounds. I work for a fostering agency as an independent panel member and am a fellow of the HEA.
