Currently Primary and Early Years Tutor for the Teach First Programme in West London, Jess is also seconded part-time to Teach First in the national role as Curriculum and Assessment Lead for Early Years. This involves working across 3 local areas involved in the Teach First Early Years provision in England; London, the South East and the West Midlands. Prior to working for CCCU, Jess worked in the Design team at Teach First and led on the expansion of the Early Years programme, negotiating a new contract with the Department for Education and taking it from its initial pilot with 16 participants to 80 participants in 3 local areas. Jess worked in collaboration with the universities to design and deliver a distinct Early Years curriculum for Teach First participants. Jess worked in West London primary schools for 10 years before taking on her role at Teach First.
