Profile summary

I am a Senior Lecturer and currently the Primary ITE Placement Lead across all primary programmes. I am also the year two lead for the BA (Hons) Primary Education programme and teach across the BA and PGCE programmes.

Teaching and subject expertise

I teach on the Primary English courses across a range of initial teacher education programmes alongside professional studies courses. I support students and schools during school-based professional placements.

My areas of academic interest are primary English, sociocultural theory and student identity.

I take a lead on partnerships and activities with institutions in Kerala, South India.
