From the earliest days of Canterbury Christ Church College where course validation was provided by the Institute of Education, delivering learning through collaborative partnerships has sat at the heart of our approach.

Down the years, our collaborations – both nationally and internationally – have widened access to education for thousands of learners. They have enabled the development of rich and innovative curricula, that impart essential skills and address real world issues and needs.

Our approach to collaborative working is far from one-size-fits-all. Our partnerships come in a variety of shapes and sizes and cover a range of specialisms and geographical areas; but what they have in common is their ability to support us in reaching students and communities who may otherwise be unable to reap the benefits of higher education. In our Diamond Jubilee year we want to seize the opportunity to celebrate and raise the profile of this area of our work.

This short film is designed to showcase our collaborative work and the difference it has made to individuals and communities. Thank you to staff and students at the following institutions for taking part.
