Business partners, staff, and students are invited to join the Enterprise and Engagement team on the third of four themed walks throughout our Jubilee year. Take this opportunity to network and find out more about the University, its collaborations, and its facilities. A great opportunity to network and make new contacts.

The theme for this walk is hops. With Autumn on the horizon, it’s a time when we welcome new students to the University and our annual harvest begins. On the day, help us gather the hops at the Christ Church hop garden, followed by a free self-guided tour of St. Augustine’s Abbey before walking to the Foundry, in Canterbury City centre, for a free beer where you will hear about how these fine plants reach their ultimate potential!

Hop picking starts from 9.30am, followed by the visit to St. Augustine’s Abbey at 11.00am and the Foundry at 12.30pm. Places limited.

Where to meet: At the front of the Verena Holmes Building, accessible by foot from North Holmes Road or Longport, Canterbury
