Experiencing bereavement is both painful and stressful. It’s important that you get the help you need to support you through the grieving process.
The Chaplaincy and Student Support teams are available to support you, either on your own or in a group. It can be very helpful to talk, as it enables you to process what has happened and how you feel.
As ordained Anglican ministers, the Chaplaincy team is experienced in supporting people facing and experiencing death and bereavement. The team is on hand to support students, staff and their families, of any faith, as they confront death and the loss of a loved one. The chaplains can offer you a listening ear and safe space to explore your feelings and emotions surrounding death, as well as practical support.
Further emotional support is also available through the Mental Wellbeing Team.
We also have an online self help guide for those coping with bereavement.
Whether you're feeling stressed, suffering from anxiety or you need help with a diagnosed mental health condition, we have a range of support available to help you.
