Social Leagues

Join a Christ Church Sport and Active Health Social League! Giving students the chance to play against each other in teams with friends, house mates, societies or course mates on a weekly basis. Just get a team together and enter!

About Social Sport Leagues

Football: Students can form their own 11 a-side Football teams and compete against other students on a weekly basis. Matches will take place on a Wednesday afternoon at Stodmarsh Playing Field, Stodmarsh Road, Canterbury.

Badminton: We’re currently offering a singles badminton league. Fixtures will take place on a Wednesday afternoon at the Christ Church Sports Centre, Pilgrims Way, Canterbury, CT1 1XS

Tennis: We’re currently offering a singles Tennis league. Fixtures will take place on a Wednesday afternoon at the Polofarm Tennis Centre, Littlebourne Road, Canterbury. 

Football sign-up

To sign up an 11 a-side team, please complete our online sign-up form.

Please note: To avoid double team entries, please ensure only the captain signs-up. They will then become the main contact for that team. Additionally, please ensure you have enough players to form a team before committing to the league. 

If you don’t have a team, don’t worry! We can help you. Please complete the online form to register interest in joining a social football team.

Tennis Sign-up

Prices

To engage in any league, participants must hold a valid Sports Centre Membership. Purchase a membership online.

General League Information

All leagues are delivered based on demand. Unfortunately, should league not recruit the amount of team required, the league will not run. A member of the Sport Development Team will keep you posted once you’ve sign up to the relevant league.
