Unlock funding

Government policy and funding incentivises links between universities, businesses and the public or third sector for initiatives that deliver growth and productivity in local or regional economies. We can help unlock funding to support the development of new products or services, or to support the contribution your business or organisation might make to the development of your sector or industry.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership

Your organisation can access graduate talent through funding from the national flagship Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme, funded by Innovate UK. We can help you unlock funding through the KTP programme for a partnership between Canterbury Christ Church University, your organisation, and a recent graduate to deliver a project that will have a tangible impact on the growth of your organisation. In the past we have supported KTPs in the travel and gaming industries, healthcare and children’s services, IT and communication technology, but the scheme is open across all sectors and for businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes.

Please contact the Enterprise & Engagement Team to discuss your partnership ideas.

Industrial Strategy Challenge funding can also fund your collaboration with us.

Direct partnerships between your business and Canterbury Christ Church University can be supported by funding from Innovate UK.

Industrial Strategy Challenge funding can also fund your collaboration with us, with recent opportunities focusing on projects that support healthy ageing, economic growth and healthcare in coastal communities, and support for the local agricultural economy.

Current collaboration include Industrial Strategy Challenge funding from the Arts Council’s Cultural Development Fund, which is supporting the development of the creative industries, particular small and micro-businesses, along a Thames Estuary Production Corridor, running from London to Thanet. In addition, our GradForce project is supporting small to medium enterprises in Kent and Medway access the graduate workforce to support their growth and development.

Please contact the Enterprise & Engagement Team to discuss potential collaboration.
