Recent multi-million pound developments have created a beautiful new, award-winning library in Augustine House which houses over 340,000 books and 11,000 journals. 900 study places, 270 PCs and 200 iBorrow notebook laptops complete the state-of-the-art facilities. Augustine House also houses our student advice and support services.

When you’re not studying, you can burn off some energy at our superb Sports Centre. With basketball, netball, badminton and volleyball courts, a fitness suite and an aerobics studio, if it’s exercise or dance you want, you’ll find it here. And if you play hockey, tennis, cricket or croquet, the 47 acre Polo Farm Sports Club is just outside the city.

But you don’t have to be super-competitive to join in - take a look at what’s available, sign up and have fun! There are more than 48 student societies and many sports clubs as part of Christ Church Students’ Union, so from Anime to Volleyball, you’ll find what you’re interested in.

If you want to enjoy some music, you’ll find it everywhere at Christ Church. From intimate gigs by student rock bands at The Lounge in the newly built Students’ Union, to world-class concerts by internationally famous musicians – whether you’re a performer or want to join an audience, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
