Accommodation

We know that you might be coming to the UK for the first time, so you’ll want to be safe, comfortable, and have access to all the facilities you’ll need. You’ll also want to be able to meet new people and make friends. You will either stay in university residences or with families in Homestay, but all accommodation will be within walking distance of the library and main campus

University residences

As a student in university accommodation, you’ll enjoy town centre living, 24 hour security, all utility bills included in the rent, internet access in all rooms, and free personal contents insurance. All rooms are single occupancy. You will be allocated to one of three university residences:

Petros Court

Petros Court is the brand new 5* University accommodation and offers 418 en-suite rooms arranged in cluster flats of three to eight guests. Each have a spacious kitchen/dining area furnished with sofas and a television. Petros Court is located close to the Canterbury city centre and has two landscaped courtyards.

Parham Road Student Village

Our purpose-built student village is a mixture of houses and apartments, and contains over 600 single bedrooms. Parham Road is located fifteen minutes from the main campus, and has great access to a variety of shops and services.

St George's Centre

St George's Centre offers modern accommodation ideally located in the centre of Canterbury. It provides 200 superior standard or large en-suite single study bedrooms arranged in flats. Each flat contains four to eight bedrooms. At St George's Centre you are perfectly placed, close to campus and the city on your doorstep.

Homestay

Living with families in Homestay accommodation is very popular for those international students who would like to immerse themselves in local culture and learn more about British family life. Families are regularly visited by Accommodation staff to ensure they meet the requirements set by the University and British Council regulations.
