About us

Canterbury Christ Church University has students from 100 different countries worldwide studying with us and contributing to our exciting and engaging international student community.

Study abroad in Canterbury

Canterbury is located in the South East of England, so the attractions of the country’s capital city, London, are within an hour by train. Easy access to international airports, ferry terminals and cross-channel services means Canterbury is an ideal base from which to explore the rest of Britain and Europe. The city is one of the most significant historical and cultural centres in Britain, and our main campus is situated on a World Heritage Site. Canterbury is one of the safest university cities in England, and is characterised by a friendly and vibrant atmosphere and a strong community spirit.

If you are a student at one of our partner institutions, you can study in Canterbury for up to two consecutive semesters. Depending on your home institution, you may be able to study abroad with us as an exchange student.

All of our programmes offer students:

  • Intercultural exchange
  • Exposure to new ideas and philosophies
  • Invaluable international professional experience
  • The opportunity to learn from, and network with, professionals from across the world
  • New knowledge and expertise
  • Improved job prospects

We hope you choose to embark on your Study Abroad experience at Canterbury Christ Church University, and we look forward to meeting you.
