About Medieval Canterbury Weekend 2020

Our fifth annual history weekend returns to the Medieval period for 2020!

Renowned historians and scholars such as Dr Sophie Ambler and Dan Jones will cover topics across the period from Anglo-Saxon society to the eve of the Reformation.

As well as talks from academics and popular historians you’ll know from their books and TV appearances, you can join our local experts on guided tours around some of the most interesting historical buildings in the city.

Any surplus from Medieval Canterbury Weekend goes into an educational fund to aid postgraduates at CCCU who are studying Kent history topics. The fund is called the Ian Coulson Memorial Postgraduate Award fund.
