Profile summary

My interests extend beyond my teaching at the University and I currently lead practice in a large nursery school with a Forest school attached. I am particularly interested in the benefits of outdoor environments and nature on young children. My concern has been growing over some years related to the health of young children; this includes a research interest in sleep deprivation, diet and lack of physical exercise in childhood. I have published several articles and in 2013 my first book titled 'The Growing Child'.
