Welcome to the amazing animals found in the Medieval Book of Beasts and thank you for choosing this teaching resource, we hope you will find it exciting, challenging - and fun.

This is a challenging but fascinating exploration of medieval cultural and natural history. This booklet contains lesson plans for the Key Stage 1 project on Medieval Animals, linked to History, Literacy, Science, Art, and PSHCEE. The website has various links and resources, including downloadable PowerPoint images and designs for a children’s mini-workbook. More material (including images that you can use in the classroom) will be added here shortly – so make sure to revisit this page!
