About Us

Find out more about our exciting autumn Arts and Culture programme on this page. Our students are involved in many ways and the general public are warmly invited to participate in every event.

Canterbury Festival and Canterbury Christ Church University recently renewed their successful, award winning, partnership and we will now remain as principal sponsor until 2019.

Canterbury Christ Church University is Partner and Principal Sponsor of the Canterbury Festival.  The 2014 Canterbury Festival saw over 70,000 visitors to Canterbury over the two week Festival, with music, theatre, circus, family shows, comedy, talks, science & exhibitions taking place across the city. Our students were involved in a range of shows and performances including two weeks of fantastic lunchtime concerts in St Gregory's.

There were a superb range of free music and theatre performances in the relaxed surroundings of St Gregory’s Centre for Music and the impressive Anselm Studios , plus a major celebration of the music of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, former Master of the Queen’s Music, who turns 80 this September.

With theatre, poetry, discussions and debates there really was something for everyone!
